How often do we as business owners make a choice to save money or cut corners without looking into the future as to what the impact could be?
As the bookkeeper/technician in our business, I’ve had the pleasure of coming in contact with clients who feel their record keeping is exemplary, after all, they are using QuickBooks Online (QBO). They’ve watched the television ads and read the advertising for QBO which is being brought forth as a small business savior. You, the business owner, can, very easily with no accounting knowledge set up and successfully use QBO. Right?
Well, I have to be the bearer of bad news. QBO is a fantastic powerful program which when set up correctly will provide the business owner with reports to support knowledgeable decisions. Now here is the BUT. If it is set up by a person who does not have the knowledge of how accounting packages work (butterfly flapping wings) or what is needed to be done to keep your accountant happy and your year-end tax bill reasonable you could be the recipient of true sticker shock (tornado in Texas).
I invite you to give Priority Business Solutions a call to ask questions about QBO. Better yet call us to set up an appointment for a consultation to see how Priority Business Solutions can help you avoid a tornado.
